Peculiar Book Peaks Readers' Curiousity

Best Blogger Tips
"A mysterious island.

An abandoned orphanage.

A strange collection of very curious photographs."

A very odd new book is coming to stores tomorrow. It is called Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children and is written by author Ransom Riggs. This story is told with both pictures and words. The children in this book have special characteristics. Two sisters communicate with each other without making a sound, another girl walks without touching the ground, and a boy cannot be seen but for his clothing. All is evidenced with very old photos.

Let me know what you think about this book in the comments or on Twitter (@AmandaBookshelf). I know I cannot wait to read it . . .

"A spine-tingling fantasy illustrated with haunting vintage photography, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children will delight adults, teens, and anyone who relishes an adventure in the shadows."
